The second national ICT Awards 2008 is scheduled for 17th of May 2008
as the world celebrates world telecoms day and information society
day.Second national ICT Awards is organised by Ministry of
Communication in co-operation with key industry stakeholders. The
awards reinforces the commitment of the government of Ghana to place
emphasis on potential of Information and Communication Technology
(ICT) to provide a foundation for building an information and
knowledge society within the overall framework of its ICT Policy for
Accelerated Development, as driver and enabler, within the
three-pronged GPRS II development strategy.
